Gorgeous healthy glow to her lovely face with blonde hair, and an immaculately clean body; her limbs are pink and beautiful as the day she was 'born.' She has a sweet baby smell. If you have ever tried to photograph and ‘capture’ the true color of a Baby Dear’s hair, you know it depends on the lighting and angle; this baby has pretty light blonde hair… not so much the reddish cast a few of my pictures show... especially the one of her behind the cellophane in her box. Her hair is NOT red... just a trick of the camera's lighting. Her hair has no missing plugs and is clean and shiny and lovely.
 
This happy baby is in TRUE MINT condition — fat and sassy, There should be no surprises as received... she is a PRIZE for a collector who will appreciate this special little girl.

She comes in her Vogue Baby Dear retail box. She is wearing a VERY RARE outfit that was issued in 1964, dating her to that time. This is the pink and white gingham topper set of shorty dress and panties. Her booties are added. The box has some wear as shown, but still has the cello insert, but missing the cardboard 'cut out door'. I have had to reinforce the box with clear tape, as the earlier owner had done. Makes an amazing display, but she would much rather come out and play with the other girls in the nursery than be tethered in her box!
 
Her topper outfit is in 'DEAD MINT' condition -- crisp, bright and all elastic still springy and intact; the polished cotton fabric still has its bright sheen to it. The dress is tagged inside with the earlier Baby Dear Vogue label... again, dating her to 1964 when the labels changed right after that -- no stains and displays just like new!
 
These Vogue Baby Dear dolls are much like potato chips, and cannot be resisted or denied. Dress them often, as they look charming and enjoy being fussed over.
