Gorgeous healthy glow to her lovely face with blonde hair, and an immaculately clean body; her limbs are pink and beautiful as the day she was 'born.' She has a sweet baby smell. If you have ever tried to photograph and ‘capture’ the true color of a Baby Dear’s hair, you know it depends on the lighting and angle; this baby has pretty light blonde hair… not so much the reddish cast a few of my pictures show... especially the one of her behind the cellophane in her box. Her hair is NOT red... just a trick of the camera's lighting. Her hair has no missing plugs and is clean and shiny and lovely.
This happy baby is in excellent condition — fat and sassy, There should be no surprises as received... she is a PRIZE for a collector who will appreciate this special little girl.

She comes in her correctly marked Vogue Baby Dear retail box. She is wearing the correct outfit to match the item number -- the red and white pin dot topper of shorty dress and panties. I do not know if the booties are original or not. The box has some wear as shown, but still has the cello and cardboard 'cut out door'. I have had to reinforce the box with clear tape, as the earlier owner had done. Makes an amazing display, but she would much rather come out and play with the other girls in the nursery than be tethered in her box!
Her topper outfit is in excellent shape with no stains and displays beautifully! The elastic is not springy as it once was, but I felt it important to leave it as original and it does retain enough to display correctly.
I had no intentions of parting with any of my rather large collection of these sweet dollies, but find a Baker’s Dozen might be a little much. If you collect them, you know they are much like potato chips, and cannot be resisted or denied. Dress them often, as they look charming and enjoy being fussed over.
