NEAR MINT~

ALL ORIGINAL DOLLS and their  ALL ORIGINAL EFFANBEE FACTORY LAYETTES

This is an early 1930s IDENTICAL TWIN PAIR of all composition Patsy Babykin Dolls by Effanbee with original mold face, and the infant drawn-up legs that is so hard to find.

NO REPAINTS, REPAIRS OR RESTORATIONS OF ANY KIND~

These precious little ones are petite at about 10" from head to toe and they are in MINT condition; they come dressed in their ORIGINAL Effanbee TWIN LAYETTES.

Patsy Babykin dolls come appropriately marked on both the nape of their necks and back. Sweet little dolls, they have been cleaned and have NO crazing on body and face. NO paint wear to their joints. Baby on the 'Left' has 3 small paint rubs; one on right none. My close ups of them are a good representation of their condition... simply Darling!

YOU WON'T find a nicer ALL ORIGINAL SET of blond Patsy BabyKINs anywhere.... with their huge original layette wardrobes.

Their extravagant identical layettes include:

  • Undershirt and flannel diaper
  • Pink flannel robe
  • White w/ blue trim romper
  • Pink romper
  • White cotton lawn day dress w/matching slips and bonnets AND matching pink flannel coats
  • Red print smocked dresses w/matching panties
  • White long gown w/matching bonnet (NOTE: interestingly one is made of cotton lawn and the other made of cotton organdy)
  • White w/pink silk trim sweaater and matching bonnet

The short gowns and bonnets have a few pinholes; otherwise, all clothes in excellent condition. The red print smocked dresses are TAGGED "R.H. Macy & Co New York" -- possibly indicating this special set of twins was exclusive to Macy's.

Their facial features are all there. Sweet blush still shines -- nice, pink flesh tone lend these little sweetie pies all the desirable characteristics of a highly collectible doll... truly a fabulous find for the Patsy doll family collector.

You can view a photos of a Patsy BabyKIN in the Patsy Doll Family Encyclopedia Vol. II, by Patricia N. Schoonmaker. Patsy Babies are marked EFFANBEE PATSY on the nape of the neck and EFFANBEE / PATSY BABY on the back.

Their EXCEPTIONAL coloring, Effanbee clothing, and baby charms make this set a neat little acquisition to your dolly nursery -- I hope you enjoy these superb little babies as much as I have.
