RARE Vintage 1940s Effanbee Mold 3 Dy-Dee 20" Dy-Dee Louise Baby Doll baby in original wardrobe layette

Adorable ~ Rare early issue mold 3 with  dark chocolate molded hair and BEFORE the tear ducts were added and head was made of hard plastic ... this baby still has the hard rubber head like the earlier mold 1 and mold 2 babies and the metal eyes (later plastic ones tended to 'yellow' ~ near MINT ~ 20" Dy-Dee Lou is the hard to find Mold 3 baby without tear holes at the inner eyes, This "newly designed" sweetheart has a nearly perfect rubber body that is soft with original light and even tone. Her limbs can pose nicely but are somewhat loose. Her right forearm has a craze line (shown in photo) and her 'baby' and 'pointy' fingers have some wear on the right side as well... but not dry and truly barely noticeable.
 
The Mold 3 dolls retained Effanbee's popular 'soft rubber ears' feature* and her ears are completely intact with no cracking or crazing.  Beautiful bright BLUE eyes peek out from a high color GORGEOUS face with all painted features intact with only the tiniest rub to the top of her forehead. Her brown molded hair has only small scratches, and is a lovely dark chocolate brown color. Her pretty eyes open and close perfectly with all brush lashes full, thick and evven. Such a beautiful and PERFECT baby girl.
 
THIS HIGH COLOR DY-DEE gives the 'IT FACTOR' when she is lovingly dressed in her beautiful original clothes~
 
She comes with her Dr. Denton style dropseat flannel pajamas, birdseye weave diaper, single button undershirt, blue nylon organdy long gown with matching bonnet, wool sweater and matching bonnet, and replaced slip and pink silk booties. All clothes in excellent/mint condition.
 
Includes her large blue esmond bunny blanket for snuggling~
 
I have given her a little rocking elephant rattle to keep her company on the ride home to you.
 
The 20" Louise dolls are SO HARD TO FIND in such great condition, and SO FUN to dress,  pose and display.
