Very very rare early 1950s Made in Japan Shackman BISQUE HEAD Sleepy Baby Doll.
 
Measures 7.5" -- 8" high.
 
This EXTREMELY RARE and highly desired and sweet little Sleepy Baby doll was part of a huge collection of Shackman Sleepy series dolls I purchased. The collector/owner documented over 50 of these dolls. This baby is marked on her back simply COPYRIGHT SHACKMAN with no date of issue. She is of the EARLIEST issue having a BISQUE head instead of the later issue stuffed stockinette head.
