This has always been a favorite in my collection... always looking for the perfect doll to match it with. Maybe you have the perfect baby to wear this charming and unusual outfit.
 
Hand knit sweater is made of heavy silk yarn with a nice sheen to it. Knit 'popcorn' stitch, angora trim, and embroidered flowers make this set the prize that it is. The bonnet seems larger proportionately to the sweater, so I'm thinking a wigged doll would match up best.
 
The measurements are:
Bonnet: 6"top to bottom laid flat;  x 5.5" to 6" front to back
Sweater: 7" shoulder to hem; sleeve 4", neck to sleeve end 6", shoulder to shoulder 7.5"
