Vintage 1960s Vogue Top Knot Baby Dear 🩷💕 restored with PLATINUM BLONDE hair~'

"Everyone" wants a blue-eyed blondie... they are just irresistible~

Darling and popular 18” TOP KNOT Baby Dear doll, first issued in 1960, designed by Eloise Wilkins.

Includes a repro hangtag 🩷 and her little blue duck rattle toy to call her own, AND her DARLING blue and white BUNNY PILLOW because it looks so nice displayed with her.

Gorgeous healthy glow to her lovely alabaster complexion with restored PLATINUM  hair, an immaculately clean body with all new kapok stuffing (this is her original body, just re-stuffed to 'revitalize' her for safe cuddling); and she now has a WORKING squeaker. I believe her lips have been touched up, and beautiful 'in hand',. This baby has the prettiest blonde hair that you just have to fall in love with! Truly, it is hard to put this little down once you hold her in your arms~

This happy baby is in excellent condition — fat and sassy, she sits up comfortably and poses ‘oh so many ways’. She comes dressed especially for you -- Happy Memorial Day!

Baby comes with a darling layette. Start with her crisp white cotton dress with embroidered flowers, lace insert, and little puffed sleeves; this is matched with an adorable white bib with a blue bunny applique for added fun. Her white cotton knit hat coordinates perfectly, along with newly made white cotton crochet booties, copy of her original diaper with French Val lace at the leg openings, and a brand new white, snap closure undershirt. Pretty and feminine, baby's dress has puffed sleeves and closes at the back with three tiny buttons.

She will come with a repro hang tag exactly like her original. All clothing in mint unplayed with condition.

She is absolutely delightful and being a 'top knot' baby, she is among the relatively few of this issue -- even with her original top knot restored she brings you her unique and special charm to the nursery. She came to me with this replaced hair, as I am, to date, no restorer of these little girls' locks...however,  it would stubbornly refuse to 'stay down' like a wild cow-lick until I managed to give her enough spa treatments to remedy her unkempt, "just-got-up-from-a-nap" bed-head 🤗 It is surely not perfect, but she is perfectly lovely and I have no reservations you will absolutely adore her... It looks lovely now, wouldn't you agree?

She is immaculately clean with only the lightest signs of age. She does have a tiny nick in the tip of her pointy finger but otherwise there are no marks, or chews to her sweet, chubby arms and legs. Her cloth stuffed body is squeezably soft and cuddly having been newly stuffed with fresh and soft kapok stuffing, with just enough 'drape' to her neck to remind you she is a 'new baby' and needs you to comfort and support her. She has a little squeaker inside, so she can 'talk' to you when needed.

She is marked with her cloth Vogue tag at the nape of her neck; and, she is appropriately stamped at the back of her leg 'E. Wilkins / 1960' to attest to her authenticity.

I had no intentions of parting with any of my rather large collection of these sweet dollies, but find a Baker’s Dozen might be a little much. If you collect them, you know they are much like potato chips, and cannot be resisted or denied. Dress them often, as they look charming and enjoy being fussed over.
