Vintage 1958 Madame Alexander Kathy doll in a hard to find size, and with the smooth molded hair.
 
I doubt you will find a finer example of this little one~
 
This issue is EXTREMELY RARE and most especially in her original outfit, nursing bottle, pacifier, and hang tag. The more common version we have all seen with the deeply molded curls and articulated arms.
 
This little baby has a 'DOUBLE SQUEAKER'; that is, squeeze her tummy and she cries, or squeeze her head with the same result (oh, my! That doesn't sound like fun for baby).
 
Her vinyl is immaculately clean and there is 'not a rub or spot on her beautiful head'. The back of her body has some light spots. She wears her original pink polka dotted polished cotton bloomers, white cotton blouse with matching trim, and matching sun hat. She has her original 'sueded' Mary Jane style shoes that snap at the sides... however one snap is detached, and the other perhaps has been reinforced at some time. The elastic is her britches has been replaced to give it more 'give' but still perhaps a little loose, so I will give it a stitch for 'insurance' :-)
 
Outfit is TAGGED on the inside of the pantaloons.
 
This is the sweetest little girl I have seen in a long time. From my own childhood era, she is dated on the nape of her neck "MME Alexander 1958"
 
She is not totally perfect, but perfect enough to rate your attention and LOVE.
 
I have NEVER seen this doll, in this large size, in such perfect condition.
