Darling vintage 1950s Boy and Girl Twins. Unmarked. Probably Sayco doll company.
 
What little cutie pies! Dressed all original and in excellent condition. Clean and ready for display.
 
Made of fully jointed hard plastic, the twins are identical when 'nakie', each having soft molded brown curls and vivid blue eyes (didn't show so well in my photos, but lovely, bright and sparkly). They are not mint, but mighty nice with minor age related wear.
 
The little boy is dressed in his navy blue velveteen pleated 'shortalls' that button at the waist in the back. Our little girl wears a red velveteen skirt that also closes at the back with a button; underneath is a pair of attached panties that probably were white at one time, but are now showing pinkish light spots... she doesn't mind... no looking!  I am certain her skirt had two straps, but there is only one now and I have tucked it around the back of her neck and into the front waistband. I believe she also had a red velveteen beret at one time... curious that both turned up missing from a sealed container, but there you have it; should they turn up I'll forward them to my buyer, of course. Both wear white blouses/shirts that button in the front. The girl's blouse has a Peter Pan collar and I have refreshed the elastic in the sleeves to puff them up again. The boy's shirt has a pointed collar and looser elastic that I did not choose to restore as he balked at the idea of puffed sleeves like his sister. Both dolls wear their original oilcloth shoes and socks.
