Vintage 1950s American Character 18" Caracul Tiny Tears Doll
 
Such a difficult doll to find in such great condition... lovely Tiny Tears with a wonderful hands-down rubber body with NO CRAZING at all. Her opulent caracul wig curls are 'massive'... just makes you want to pat her little head to feel how soft! She has lovely facial color, and perfect rosy lips, and well-defined brows and under lashes. Her brush lashes are full, even and her blue eyes open and close perfectly. Her face is near mint with only light wear.
 
Baby Tiny comes with her 1950s NEW OLD-STORE-STOCK Pink Polka Dot polished cotton dress that has a blue-smocked chest, big puffy short sleeves, and a 'school days' collar; it closes at the back with a single blue button.
 
A New Old-Store-Stock pair of blue striped rayon socks match the outfit nicely.
 
For nighttime... still cold at night... I have given her a New Old-Store-Stock pair of DR. DENTON-type drop-seat pajamas (uh oh... I forgot to take a photo of the backside... but it IS cute, I promise!). Made of soft white flannel with a banded knit neckline, sleeves and leg openings, there is a whimsical pattern sprinkled all over.
 
I added a nursing bottle and a little DUCK toy container (Neat! Baby can store some little treasure inside).
