Lovely vintage 1950s American Character 16" Tiny Tears baby doll, redressed in pristine dress set.

This little lady is just gorgeous with a high color, flawless face, all painted facial features intact, full open-close blue eyes that work perfectly with thick, full and even lashes. She has a 5-part vinyl body in excellent condition with no issues -- all joints work smoothly and all fingers and toes present with no deterioration. You will want to know that this is a replacement American Character body from the 'next issue' Tiny Tears doll (the one that would have had rock-a-bye eyes), as this one's rubber body was too far gone to save.
 
Her light auburn saran hair is thick and full and will want a brushing perhaps to make her feel pampered. There is the very common slight separation (not sure what to call it exactly) between the forehead hairline and the hard plastic face, but covered by her soft curly locks.

Dress and bonnet are made of crisp cotton in a pink/dark pink flowers with cotton lace trim, ribbons and floral appliques. Includes a matching pair of white cotton bloomers. This set was made for my dolly closet by a very fine seamstress more than 30 years ago. PRISTINE, never been on a doll, and carefully stored away all these years.
