This is the 1946 Trudy the composition and cloth Three-In-One-Doll with Multi-faces designed by Eloise Gilbert.

Complete with original hang tag stating: An Eloise Gilbert Creation Patents Pending -- Sleepy Weepy and Smily -- Trade Mark of the THREE-IN-ONE Doll Corp.

Featuring an all composition head with 3 expressionable faces -- the head rotates 360 degrees inside her hood to reveal each face as you slowly turn the blue fabric covered button dial at the top of her head -- a happy face, a sleeping face, or a crying face so you have three dolls in one!

She is about 14" high with a composition head and softly stuffed cloth body, and she is in fabulous near mint condition! Her composition head retains its original vivid coloring with absolutely NO flaking or crazing and no paint loss anywhere. She has three tufts of ash blonde curls framing her 'faces'.

She is ALL ORIGINAL with no restoration or touch-ups. Trudy comes dressed in her pink rayon 'eiderdown' outfit -- shirt, pants, jacket and hooded hat. The pants and the jacket can be removed. Her limbs are firmly stuffed but still cuddley. The cloth stitched joints allow her limbs to move freely, and she sits nicely if you ask her politely. The outfit has no holes, stains or tears and retains its baby blue and baby pink colors.

Trudy is a rare doll to find in such exceptional condition, as most found today are cracked or crazed or the outfit is in poor condition. She is a very rare doll to find in good condition. Dolls such as Trudy often have composition that is in poor condition.

Please remember that I have done all the work for you; she is clean and display ready with no foul odors.

LAST TWO PHOTOS show a copy of the original letter that came with the purchase of Trudy so many decades ago. These are for reference only, as letter is not included with purchase.
