Beautiful baby in her gorgeous dress set -- dress, slip, and pantaloons; matching bonnet with ruching and lace trimmed organdy -- I added a 'to die for' peachy pink coat and bonnet set from the same vintage era, along with pink socks and real leather moccasins.
The coat set is 'mommy made in a beautiful shade of pink ... incredible tailoring and design in this set! Made of lovely light-weight wool, with a silk lining, both coat and bonnet are a perfect reflection of the sets worn by little girls in the 1940s. Whomever tailored this set deserves an award for all the love put into it. It came without ribbon ties, so I added peachy pink silk ones to compliment both the coat and the pearlescent buttons. The trapunto trim on the bodice of the coat is amazing!
The dress set is made of crips white organdy with French val lace trim; underneath is a gorgeous new, old-store-stock, crisp white cotton slip from the late 1940s/early 1950s. Beautiful white organdy bonnet is the perfect 'crown' to this striking and complimentary ensemble for Ms. Miracle.

A warm reminder that our pure, childhood thoughts and dreams are worthwhile.
This is a GORGEOUS Baby! These dolls were made by Ideal Toy Co and marketed under the name "Baby Beautiful". They came in a wide range of sizes as well as with blue eyes, or brown eyes; as they were marketed by some large retailers like Montgomery Ward and Sears, some of the dolls were marked Ideal and some were not -- THIS ONE IS APPROPRIATELY MARKED 'IDEAL DOLL / USA'.
Baby herself has had her limbs restored by the finest in the business and there is NO crazing. Her head has had NO RESTORATION and is all original... so special that she has her original glow and expression. She has only a scant few of the very lightest of intermittent crazing to the face and barely visible at all -- amazing condition. Lovely dark BROWN eyes open and close perfectly, with all lashes full, even and present.
Her body is strong and intact showing her age with a light patina to the body fabric; I have put her in a lovely 'second skin' in a pretty fleshtone that makes her feel extra special. Inside her are TWO WORKING CRIERS (the largest dolls had one in the upper chest and one in the lower abdomen)... so rare to find.
Will include a copy of Dicken's "Christmas Carol", and a soft Shackman 'Noel' Christmas Baby.
These dolls are very hard to find in this condition in any size...
