Beautiful baby in a copy of her original dress set -- dress, slip, and pantaloons -- and added exquisite silk embroidered coat and bonnet. Both dress set and coat set are in pristine condition. The coat set is 'New Old-Store-Stock' in a beautiful shade of baby pink with ruching, piping and smocking... pristine set! The dress set is newly made from cotton batiste fabric with vintage trim. She wears 'new old-store-stock' leather mocassins on her feet and pretty pink trimmed cotton socks.

This is a GORGEOUS Baby! These dolls were made by Ideal Toy Co and marketed under the name "Baby Beautiful". They came in a wide range of sizes as well as with blue eyes, or brown eyes; as they were marketed by some large retailers like Montgomery Ward and Sears, some of the dolls were marked Ideal and some were not -- THIS ONE IS APPROPRIATELY MARKED 'IDEAL DOLL'.
Baby herself has had her limbs and top of her head restored by the finest in the business and there is NO crazing. Her face has had NO RESTORATION and is all original... so special that her face has her original glow and expression. She has only the very lightest of intermittent crazing to the face and barely visible at all -- amazing condition. Lovely dark BROWN eyes open and close perfectly, with all lashes present.
Her body is strong and intact showing her age with a light patina to the body fabric; I have put her in a lovely 'second skin' in a pretty fleshtone that makes her feel extra special. Inside her are TWO WORKING CRIERS (the largest dolls had one in the upper chest and one in the lower abdomen)... so rare to find.
Does not include her little blue bunny rabbit.
These dolls are very hard to find in this condition in any size...
