This is a GORGEOUS Baby! These dolls were made by Ideal Toy Co and marketed under the name "Baby Beautiful". They came in a wide range of sizes as well as with blue eyes, or brown eyes; as they were marketed by some large retailers like Montgomery Ward and Sears, some of the dolls were marked Ideal and some were not, as this one is not. Baby Beautiful is GORGEOUS in her equally gorgeous ORIGINAL white cotton organdy dress, bonnet, and slip; and a pair of replaced newly-made pantaloons. She still has her original pink oilcloth tie shoes and pink rayon socks. I have added a BREATHTAKING baby fine silk coat and matching pink silk bonnet.
Baby herself has been completely restored to her original factory beauty. Lovely BLUE eyes open and close perfectly. Her body is strong and intact showing her age but iside is her LOUD WORKING CRIER... so rare to find.
