Vintage 1940s Effanbee Tommy Tucker w/ Original Outfit and GOLDEN paper hang tag.
Back of neck marked Effanbee / Made in USA. Made of composition limbs with cloth body; he has a GORGEOUS original set human hair wig... well, boys back then when very young DID have long hair... as Mom's were just as reluctant back in those days to cut their darling boy's hair as we, perhaps, are today with our own little boys.
Measuring just 15" tall he will fit very comfortably in 'just one more space' in your dolly nursery.
This issue is known as Tommy Tucker by his hang tag; but, has also been called 'Mickey' and Baby Bright Eyes in Effanbee advertising campaign. He comes dressed in his original outfit that has never been removed... so I left it as it is not wanting to disturb it after all these years. His shoes do look replaced as well as his socks. He is clean but for light shelf wear to his duds.
Darling boy! This fella' has flirty sleep eyes with all brush lashes present and work perfectly to open/close and flirty back-and-forth. He has only a few scant line of very light crazing on his left arm; otherwise nothing else to note. His face and composition are smooth and vibrant... down to his eyebrows that are so often rubbed away over the years. All features are intact. I did touch-up a couple of his fingertips that were worn, but otherwise just as he came from the store many decades ago now.
