EXTREMELY RARE issue with a cloth body and celluloid hands.
 
She has the WWII-era RARE painted eyes -- during the war all metal, including metal eyes for dolls, was utilized by the war department and unavailable to doll manufacturers. She has an extremely rare platinum blonde wig -- gorgeous curls that are thick, full and even.
 
Patsy Babyette is appropriately marked on the back of her head. She wears replaced vintage clothing that has wear... but, oh what a nice wool coat!
 
She has very light, below the surface crazing to her head. She retains all painted features, and her bright blue painted eyes are perfect. Her firmly stuffed cloth body is in excellent condition. The celluloid hands are perfect with no breaks or cracks.
 
 
This is a great little one to add "just one more..." to your composition, 1930s, and/or Effanbee doll collection.
