Gorgeous vintage Molly'es Christening Coat Set and Long Gown for your Effanbee 15" Dy-Dee Lou baby doll.
 
Made of soft, pale peachy-pink lightweight silk, this set features a lovely tiny pinch-pleated coach collar. The matching bonnet has a double pinch pleated ruffle and net lace trim at the back, with original silk ties. This set was made by Molly'es expressley for Dy-Dee from her FAO Schwarz deluxe trunk. In nice condition, with a small spot where the fabric has thinnned (see photo) in the front. Bonnet has original double ties in nice condition.
 
So RARE to find a 'carriage' or christening set for Dy-Dee. I have only seen a couple of the advertised sets in 30 years... I sold one many years back now, and kept this one for my own collection, and you will find it a prized addition to your own baby's layette.
 
Dy-Dee will look breathtaking in this ensemble, and as any Dy-Dee collector will tell you, the christening sets are truly RARE.
