Amazing vintage 1930s Baby Shirley Temple in a desirable 16" size... just enough room in your doll nursery for "just one more".
 
This is a rarely found beautiful example of this issue of Shirley. She has a beautiful complexion with only two very, very light small craze lines to her face. Her arms are craze-free, and her legs have only the lightest at all. There is some discoloration to the composition where the top of the legs join the body, caused by her elasticised underwear at the leg opening and waist. I did include a pair of bloomers to her outfit.
 
Her beautiful face has bright and sparkling FLIRTY eyes that move side-to-side, back-and-forth, as well as open-and-close for sleep. All her natural brush lashes are full and thick and even. Her irises have crazed, and pupils have been added to make her 'come alive' again. She has tiny teeth inside her mouth along with a felt tongue as is appropriate and correct. She has lovely golden blonde mohair curl wig that I could not easily capture when photographing. The photos of her with the lightest coloring are correct... much nicer 'in hand' than my work here can show. The wig is still in its original, natural set and possibly had never been disturbed until l removed her bonnet to inspect. The hair is thick and full with no shedding or thin spots.... just super!

She wears her ORIGINAL pink organdy party dress with original slip and the matching bonnet. Blue embroidery, ruffling and lace enhance this baby-style dress. Clothing is still bright and vibrant with a very light mark to the side-front of the dress at the hem, and a few spots at the back as well. She has her original oilcloth tie moccasin type shoes and replaced same vintage socks. Her original socks were quite soiled above the shoe line, and did not come clean, but I will include them with her.
 
Her body is very clean and without odor, and her joints move and pose securely.
 
This is one of the very finest BABY SHIRLEY TEMPLE dolls I have seen in over 30 years. Her smooth facial complexion and minimal crazing make this Little Miss a very desirable doll to add to your nursery.
