This sweet little baby is the earliest little Dy-Dee with the tin litho brown eyes and earliest little box. The box even retains its original tissue paper lining the bottom. Her face and hair are in excellent condition as is her soft, supple rubber body with no crazing or dryness.
 
Her accessories are as shown and original but for the glass nursing bottle which does have the earliest Dy-Dee rubber nipple someone exchanged from the glass Dy-Dee bottle long ago... cute that it is now in a smaller, more manageable size for this little one.
 
Her layette includes her RARE oilcloth moccasins with POM POMS, long cotton batiste day gown with matching slip and cap. Underneath is her birdseye weave cotton diaper, rayon vest, and RARE bellyband.
 
The added pink 'eiderdown' hooded wrapper is a mommy-made layette item beautifully stitched with embroidered flowers. It is made from a 1930s pattern issued expressley for Dy-Dee dolls.
 
Super little set and a wonderful example of the early Dy-Dee history.
