Just an adorable bit of sweetness to add to your nursery -- cabinet sized at a diminutive 11". This all composition 1930s Madame Alexander CHERUB toddler doll is a SUPER RARE find -- there have only been a short handful of these little ones seen in the last few decades, and most are unmarked... this baby's body is appropriately marked "Madame Alexander"... with the owner penciling in "Cherub" underneath :-)
She comes dressed ALL original in her TAGGED cotton batiste dress, matching onesie slip/panties, and bonnet; original oilcloth shoes and cotton socks cover her little feet. Her clothes have light play wear but are freshly pressed and she displays like a little mischief maker... Cherub, indeed!!
Her complete ensemble is so sweet!
Baby Cherub is all composition with NO CRAZING, some light paint wear, to her 'skin' here and there, and a few small separations to the compo at her neck opening that have been filled and sealed. She stands well without assistance and her joints are firmly strung to pose her to your liking.
She has the most impish countenance. Her pretty blue side-glancing painted eyes spell 'trouble' if you ask me. The painted facial features are as close to perfect as I can imagine with no crazing at all. She has rosy cheeks and her hair has the most darling molded curls.
She is in wonderful condition and ready to come home~
