Vintage Bunny Esmond retail box with classic signature eiderdown bunny rabbit themed small blanket.

This very rare retail box has the earliest Esmond graphics from the early 1930s. EXTREMELY rare.
 
I have had this box for more than 20 years. It came to me empty but for the original brown tissue paper and preserved in a heavy plastic wrapping. 
 
The graphics are brown, black and deep red with the oldest bunny graphics. Box is in pretty much MINT CONDITION. Sturdy and intact and unfaded.
 
I searched on-and-off for the last 20 years searching for the small Esmond "Chick Scalloped" blanket that the end flap on the box calls out as the correct blanket for its contents. To no avail... so I added a PRISTINE earliest Esmond Bunny RABBIT blanket, befitting the box graphics, to complete the display as best as possible. The deep pink blanket is reversible as one might expect :-) Perhaps you will someday find the original blanket in accordance to the box description.
 
Assuming you would want the clear platic cover as intact as possible, I photographed the box with it on, so there is plenty of flash reflection in my photos. The box is perfect.
 
What an opportunity to add this marvelous box and blanket to your dolly display. I have never seen an earlier or better example of an early Esmond retail box.
