Beautiful vintage 1920s Effanbee 20" Lovums composition and cloth body baby doll with the bent baby legs -- big, fat chubby baby!
 
I have never seen a magnetic hands Lovums in all my years of collecting.

She comes with four toys that I have made for her to hold: small red ball, American Flag, jump rope, and a whisk broom. You can add your own favoriate toys to keep her busy, too.
 
Near mint condition Lovums is dressed in her original blue and white dimity gingham print dress with white organdy pinafore; underneath is a crisp white pair of bloomers, and topped off with a wide-brimmed bonnet -- ALL ORIGINAL. She wears original white oilcloth shoes and socks. Lovum's dress and pinafore are excellent condition with light playwear. Her bloomers are minty. Unfortunately her bonnet around the crown and back have shredded; I was able to repair it enough to keep it functional, but as you can see it was a 'bear' to work with... but still looks lovely on her.
 
LOVUMS herself is in mint condition having been fully restored. All her composition is smooth and a lovely pink color, with no paint loss. Her cloth body is clean and firmly stuffed; however, her arms had unduly wear and have been secured, and topped with a new 'skin'. Just an all-around perfectly beautiful example of this marvelous HAPPY BABY.
 
She has a high color face with all painted features intact. Her brown eyes open and close properly and she has her full compliment of brush lashes....
