RARE Madame Hendren Georgene Baby Composition Doll designed by Georgene Averill in 1936
 
Original hard to find outfit!
 
MINT fully restored Geogene Baby (unmarked) from the 1930s is a PERFECT size to add to your composition doll nursery at just 20" high.
 
She retains her original softly stuffed cloth body that is quite clean. Much like the Ideal Princess Beatrix doll, her limbs rotate and drape 'here and there' to give her a variety of poses much like a real baby. Her kapok-stuffed body is SOFT and cuddly and LIGHTWEIGHT making her a great baby doll for any little girl to cuddle to sleep 'back in the day'.
 
As there is almost no reference information about this doll available, but she comes dressed in her original pink cotton batiste baby-style dress and matching ruffled bonnet; replaced vintage pink slip underneath; and added crocheted white booties.
 
The dress set is in excellent, vibrant condition, with a few scattered tiny holes in the folds. Bonnet retains original 'self fabric ties'.
