RARE 1930s Ideal 21" Composition Baby Beautiful -- All Original -- brown FLIRTY EYES
Marketed as a POPPA MOMMA doll in her ORIGINAL BOX with 'instruction' card
ALL ORIGINAL factory outfit -- dress, bonnet, slip, bloomers; replaced socks, and oilcloth shoes. Baby herself is all original and just about MINT condition with NO CRAZING, and no restorations of any kind.
Her dress and bonnet show age-related shelf wear as she was stored in her box that has no lid, just the bottom portion. They have been cleaned and pressed; the slip and bloomers, as they were covered are in mint condition. Her original oilcloth shoes will be included (not shown), but I replaced them with same vintage mint shoes and socks for a nice presentation.

Though marketed here in her original box, she is is theIdeal BABY BEAUTIFUL doll from the 1930s... one of several different issue dolls that were marketed and sold under that same and other names with entirely different faces and attributes during that period.
Such a happy baby, she has composition arms and legs and head, with a firmly stuffed cloth body. Her arms and legs have smooth, even skin tone with no crazing or paint loss. She has two non-working criers. Her ORIGINAL FLIRTY EYES move side-to-side and open-close perfectly, with all lashes intact. Her face has lovely original coloring with a healthy blush remaining. Her brown molded curls have just a modicum of light rubs.
She comes complete with her Shackman SLEEPY BABY doll to hug on her trip home to you.
Her box has wear as might be expected, but the end panel with the graphics show her origins and so nice to have. Original brown tissue lines the box.

Baby Beautiful, in any issue under any name, is a desirable doll to add to your nursery -- especially with gorgeous flirty eyes -- this one is not to be missed.
