Here is a doll to LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE. You are viewing an extremely rare Heartbeat LOVUMS composition and cloth toddler baby doll that has a "heartbeat" mechanism embedded in her chest, thereby simulating a baby's heartbeat when wound. A very comforting and unique baby to care for and enjoy.
 
She comes MINT in her retail box, is all original with vivid high color features all completely intact. She has never been played with and has remained in her box for over 90 years. Makes for a very special addition to any composition doll or Effanbee collection.
 
LOVUMS clothing are ALL ORIGINAL -- she wears her original white cotton organdy dress with matching bonnet, pink cotton slip with cotton lace trim, white cotton bloomers, silk socks, and 'sueded' oilcloth shoes.
 
Lovums has a beautiful dark chocolate brown molded hair composition head and limbs that move freely and securely to raise and lower her arms. There is no crazing to the legs and arms, and only a few light stray lines on her face There was a small patch on the nape of her neck that I sealed where it was just beginning to separate. The cloth body has some age patina from storage on the bottom half. 
 
She has the RARE pink celluloid fingernails that are a special feature on a very few of the Effanbee dolls.
 
Her face is VIBRANT with beautiful BLUE EYES that sparkle with good cheer and, of course, LOVE as she gazes up at you, and raises her arms to be picked up and hugged. Her eyelashes are full and even on the left and abbreviated for the outer half n the right, but not much noticeable when surrounded by all her beautiful attributes and features.
 
EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND THIS DOLL IN HER RETAIL BOX with brochures.
