NO CRAZING AT ALL -- NONE ANYWHERE -- ON THIS BEAUITIFUL BABY -- with smooth, even toned composition. The back of her hands, elbows and knees still retain their original healthy glow of blush.
SHE HAS THE RARE Pink CELLULOID fingers and toenails -- Very special feature to a short handful of Effanbee dolls from the 1930s.
She is is marked appropriately on the nape of her neck HOC. Her ORIGINAL tin litho eyes are perfect, opening and closing as they should with ALL of her brush lashes present, full, thick and even. Baby Buttercup is dressed ALL ORIGINAL: Horsman FACTORY cotton organdy GOWN with matching BONNET, pink silk capelet, full SLIP, and pink flannel DIAPER. She is only missing her oilcloth side-snap shoes (which I think I have and will include if that is the case before sending her home). Her 'baby sweet' dress is made of white cotton organdy with French val lace trim and pale baby pink and blue embroidered accents. Her bonnet retains it's original pink silk ribbons which do have some light wear... afterall she is almost 90 years oldnnow. The entire outfit is complete and original.

The historical value and short production run lend this little cutie all the desirable characteristics of a highly collectible doll. Truly a RARE find for any collector of Horsman or composition dolls.
