Gorgeous -- this is the earliest issue of the classic 1950s Tiny Tears baby doll by American Character; it is the mid-size made standing approximately 13" high. She is the very first issue Tiny Tears with the "Pat Pend" mark on the nape of her neck, and in the very RARE brown plaid trunk.
 
I have never had or seen a nicer version of this beautiful set -- she has it all!
 
Here is what you want to know -- everything is original to the set:
Never been played with doll -- near mint rubber body and head -- I have never seen a more perfect early body; it is still soft, flexible and has kept its shape with no collapsing of the chest or legs as is so common. No Crazing, No cracks, no creases. Her beautiful face is flawless; her hair has only 2 tiny, tiny rubs to even suggest her over 75 years of age. Vibrant is the word I use to describe the rich coloring these early dolls have.

Pink dimity dress, bonnet and slip in MINT condition -- the bonnet even has its crisp net lace under the brim. This dress came in two different bonnet styles, with this wider brim giving baby a soft look.

Darling BUNNIES themed flannel kimono robe -- these flannel robes were sold with the more deluxe sets. Over the years I have collected them all -- over 25 different patterns. The early ones have more 1940s patterns with child/baby/animal themes, compared to the latter ones with flowers and small prints.
 
 
This lovely and most highly sought after Tiny Tears comes to you in her Deluxe Retail brown plaid trunk. It retains all its original accessories but for the rubber pacifier. All accessories in unused condition.
 
Baby Tiny Tears has a her original hands down rubber body with NO CRAZING, no cracks, no creases, no problems. You will note that it is a darker color than the later issue Tiny Tears dolls, as this is the original and first rubber used on these dolls... over the years the rubber was a lighter and pink color compared to these softer and darker ones. She has a high color face with NO FLAWS. There are no rubs to the paint. Her brown molded curls are near perfect. She has lovely clear blue eyes with full and even brush lashes; they open and close perfectly. These early eyes are made of metal, where the later issues were plastic; this gives them clear, bright whites and sparkling eyes.
 
Very very hard to find this issue Tiny Tears in such amazing condition.
