Vintage Vogue Baby Dear doll, first issued in 1961, and designed by Eloise Wilkins.
 
ALL ORIGINAL DOLL -- has not been restored -- in her original and RARE Blue layette dress -- this is my LAST blue dress -- and original and hard to find blue 'dr. denton' style pajamas🌸
 
As near 'mint in box' as you can get... without the box.
 
Gorgeous ethereal glow to her lovely face with the lightest blonde hair, and an immaculately clean body -- her limbs are pink and beautiful as the day she was 'born.' If you have ever tried to photograph and ‘capture’ the true color of a Baby Dear’s hair, you know it depends on the lighting and angle; this baby has pretty very light blonde LONG hair. Her hair has no missing plugs and is clean and shiny and lovely... like new. She shows no signs of having been played with... poor little Sweetie Pie~
 
This happy baby is in mint condition — fat and sassy -- pleasant and huggable. There should be no surprises as received... she is a PRIZE for a collector who will appreciate this special little girl.
 
She will come with a perfect reproduction 'Baby Dear' wrist tag (not shown).

Baby Dear is dressed in her original VERY HARD TO FIND blue cotton baby layette dress with attached slip and tagged at the back seam; includes her original sleeveless undershirt, and white flannel diaper; I added a pair of newly made booties like the ones from Vogue, but she will come with booties like her originals). Also comes with very hard to find pair of blue knit, 2-piece pajamas - including 'non-skid' foot bottoms. The dress is in crisp, beautiful condition.
