A beautiful all-original Dy-Dee -- the perfect way to begin — or bring another special Dy-Dee baby home to your nursery.
 
This charming, chubby baby has the brightest, sparkling original blue eyes. Paired with her dark brown molded hair — increasingly difficult to find in such fabulous condition — her sweet face absolutely glows.
 
Her complexion is flawless, with high-color rosy cheeks and beautifully defined painted features, all completely intact with no rubs — simply lovely.
 
Her dark brown molded hair is nearly pristine. She retains her inset rubber ears — a special feature of Mold 2 and Mold 3 dolls — soft, flexible, and beautifully preserved, with only a single small craze on one ear. As collectors know, these ears are often a source of concern… this baby truly has it all.
 
She is dressed in her original Effanbee factory-tagged dress — a highly desired and documented outfit in Barbara Hilliker’s Dy-Dee collector “Bible.” In fact, this very baby is pictured on page 32 of Barbara’s book.
 
I purchased her directly from Peggy Montei many years ago. Peggy and I corresponded for years, exchanging emails and letters as we admired and discussed our dolls and their accessories.

Dy-Dee Jane’s body is virtually mint — soft, evenly toned, flexible, and free of crazing. She is immaculately clean and fresh, just as a baby should be.
 
Her clothing is in excellent condition. The “windowpane” dimity dress has two small, carefully executed invisible repairs (yes, truly invisible!).
