Beautifully restored 22" vintage 1930s Plassie Baby doll by Ideal Toy Co. Sweet composition and cloth doll is in mint restored condition from head to toe.
 
She has brown FLIRTY eyes that move side-to-side to fully express her personality. All brush lashes are present and full and even. Eyes open and close perfectly. Her facial features and molded brown curls are very much like Ideal's own Princess Beatrix of this same era. Her hands do not have the familiar and classic clenched fists that some of the Plassie and all Beatrix dolls exhibit. Her body has darkened significantly, and I have put a new 'body suit skin' over her old one to help her feel and look fresh :-) She is on her way to a new life when she comes home to you.
 
She comes wearing her original dress, slip and bonnet; and a newly made pink silk coat and bonnet with baby blue embroidered flower trim. Her sweet white cotton lawn dress and bonnet are in played with condition; the dress had damage at some point in the front of the skirt portion; someone cleverly added a white cotton apron to cover, making her dress lovely once again and the set displays beautifully.
 
Her pink silk coat set was lovingly and exquisitely made by a most talented seamstress; fine vintage silk and the highest level of skill went into its making from a vintage doll pattern from the 1930s.
 
Rayon socks complete her ensemble.
