Darling and popular 18” Baby Dear doll, first issued in 1960, designed by Eloise Wilkins.

Surely this is a Real Princess...

Gorgeous healthy glow to her lovely face with pretty blonde hair, and an immaculately clean body. She sits up comfortably poses well to enhance her sweet and expressive personality. If you have ever tried to photograph and ‘capture’ the true color of a Baby Dear’s hair, you know it depends on the lighting and angle; this baby has pretty blonde hair… not so much the reddish cast some of my pictures show... photos of her hair are closest to the right shade 'in hand'.

This happy baby is in excellent condition — fat and sassy, she sits up comfortably and poses ‘oh so many ways’. She is such a beauty I thought it would be fun to see her shine once again, so I have dressed her ready for EASTER and SPRING parties, or even her Baptismal christening. After a long hot day of fun and play, she can rest in her cozy white cotton undershirt with side snaps, and pretty white flannel diaper. I have added a lovely pair of booties to keep her adorable feet warm. I added a newly made pair of white all cotton t-shirt knit 'Dr. Denton' style pajamas in a darling print and baby pink 'blankie' to snuggle with at night.

She is SPEICAL as she has her own pacifier and a little squeaker inside to cry for you at night when she is hungry, lonely or scared.

  •  Beautiful nylon organdy christening dress with full underslip and a coordinating bonnet. This is a vintage 1960s set that fits baby perfectly and is in excellent condition.
  • Added white bonnet with light wear, one small hole..
  • Pink crochet booties
  • White flannel diaper
  • White side-snap undershirt
  • DARLING pink blanket to wrap baby in for snuggles and warmth -- light wear with 2 small holes.
  • PINK magnetic pacifier
  • Little squeaker inside for crying

All her clothing is in 'like new' never worn; or, lightly used condition -- everything is clean and wonderful!

She is ready for play and display... although she prefers to be cuddled.

This little sweetie pie  is absolutely delightful with all her hair intact and it is shiny and clean and loves to be combed and styled. She has a little squeaker inside her pinkish body so she can cry out to you when needed.

"I had no intentions of parting with any of my rather large collection of these sweet dollies, but find a Baker’s Dozen might be a little much. If you collect them, you know they are much like potato chips, and cannot be resisted or denied. Dress them often, as they look charming and enjoy being fussed over."
