Darling vintage 1950s Baby Kathy doll by Madame Alexander in original romper and bonnet
 
Sweet as can be, Kathy was issued to compete with American Character Tiny Tears and Ideal Betsy Wetsy dolls, and the like. She is all vinyl with open/close sleep eyes and is a drink-and-wet baby. She comes dressed in her original baby pink cotton romper and matching bonnet. The elastic in the sleeves and legs is slightly relaxed, but otherwise her outfit is clean and lovely. I have added a pair of 1950s white knit booties and a birdseye weave diaper to complete her outfit.
