1930s/1940s Vintage 11" Effanbee Dy-Dee Ellen Baby Doll in her original box.
 
Lovely set has her original factory layette.
 
This sweet little baby is in very good condition with an even-toned, soft, supple craze-free body; the joints are firm and pose perfectly as they should. Her shining high-color facial features have some wear to the more delicate painted lashes, and there is a small repair to the topside of her right eye lid. She has pretty brown glassene eyes with her full complement of thick and even natural brush lashes. Her brown molded hair has surely been loved. Her soft inset rubber ears are perfect!
 
She comes with her original layette: beautiful blue floral dropseat pajamas, white dotted swiss dress, white cotton slip, birds eye weave diaper, single-button undershirt, classic blue twill coat and matching bonnet, eiderdown blanket, and added silk booties. I included an original 'eiderdown' short kimono jacket and a jazzy red print sunsuit -- both items Effanbee mold 2 original layette items. All clothing in excellent condition. 
 
She comes with her original display box to hold her and all her nice things. Box surely has age-related wear but completely intact and provides great storage.
 
Her accessories include her glass nursing bottle, faux 'silver' feeding spoon, pacifier, pink Esmond eiderdown blanket, and I added a vintage 'BABY' bracelet.
