1930s/1940s Vintage 11" Effanbee Dy-Dee Ellen Baby Doll TWINS~
 
These are the 'rabbit fur wig' caracul baby dolls that were issued for a short period.
 
This SUPER SET of little Dy-Dee babies features the twins along with their EIGHT outfits -- almost all are mommy-made expressly for these twins... and surely made some little girl(s) very happy to have such a large wardrobe for hours of dressing and fun! The outfits, though lovingly made are not perfect and may need a stitch or two, and a couple of them have a few light spots that may come out with a gentle soak.
 
Each baby has a matching pair of shoes -- one in pink, one in white -- and matching pairs of blue striped socks.
 
The babies themselves are in excellent played with condition with very minor wear. Their rubber inset ears a good, and their rubber bodies are soft and pliable still, with firm joints for posing. One baby has crazing on the  top of her left forearm... she would not say what she got into to make that happen :-)
 
Their faces have great color and the painted features are intact; each have perfect open/close glassene eyes with a full complement of thick and even brush lashes.
