1940s Effanbee CANDY KID 12" Composition all original doll.
 
RARE to find in such beautiful condition. Generally these darling dolls are deeply crazed, chipped and have lifting composition everywhere. This beauty has only the lightest and intermittent craze lines. Her hair is the lighter of the two colors this doll was issued with -- this golden brown shade, and a dark brown color... RARE to find in this color.
 
She wears her entirely original EFFANBEE dotted swiss dress, panties, and bonnet. Original silk socks and oil cloth tie shoes complete her outfit.
 
The white shoes have darkened/yellowed over the years. I 'may' have another pair that would match better to her pure white outfit and will include them if I do -- sorry, just thought of that idea while I was listing her, so I will have to check.
