1930s Vintage 11" Effanbee Dy-Dee Ellen Baby Doll in her original display suitcase.
 
Super set has everything this little Dy-Dee came with when purchased so many decades ago.
 
This sweet little baby is in remarkable condition with a soft, supple craze-free body; the joints are firm and pose perfectly as they should. Her shining high-color facial features are all intact. She has pretty brown glassene eyes with her full complement of thick and even natural brush lashes. Her brown molded hair has only a a few light rubs to suggest her near 90 years of age.
 
She comes with her original layette: beautiful rose floral dropseat pajamas, white dotted swiss dress, white cotton slip (someone has added a button closure at the back), birds eye weave diaper, single-button undershirt, classic blue twill coat and matching bonnet, and oilcloth shoes. Her socks were missing so I have added a pair of same vintage, new old-store-stock blue strip socks to complement her outfit. The dress and coat set have very light playwear, and the coat has a small (very small) stain on the back of the bodice.
 
She comes with her original suitcase to hold her and all her nice things.
 
Her accessories include her original glass Dy-Dee nursing bottle, faux 'silver' feeding spoon, rubber tipped straw and bubble pipe, pacifier, blue bunny Esmond blanket, and soap.
