This is a wonderful 25" Effanbee SUGAR Baby composition and cloth doll from the 1930's. She comes with NO CRAZING dressed in replaced outfit. Her socks and shoes, and white cotton lawn dress and slip will be included with your purchase, as they had enough wear to warrant a new wardrobe (photos available upon request). However, I have redressed her in a same vintage, newly made OUTSTANDING pink cotton organdy dress (with attached slip), bonnet and bloomers -- fresh, vibrant and crisp. I have added a gorgeous white silk coat and bonnet for added display value.

This FABULOUS doll is in near mint original factory condition and no crazing. A couple of finger-tips ave very light paint wear is all there is to mention.

Sugar Baby has a beautiful, nearly flawless chocolate brown molded hair head. Her composition head and limbs have NO CRAZING at all. The oilcloth body is immaculately clean and still very nice after all these decades past.
Her face is VIBRANT with beautiful BLUE EYES that sparkle with good cheer and, of course, LOVE as she gazes up at you, and raises her arms to be picked up and hugged. She retains her original multi-stroke brows and painted lashes. Her glassene eyes are clear and lovely; she has a full complement of thick, brush lashes; her eyes open and close perfectly.
