1930s Effanbee 22" Patsy Lou Composition Doll
A lovely lady she is... this near mint Patsy Family doll near perfect, and comes dressed in an exquisite outfit lovingly made by some young girl's Mama or Grandma or Auntie. It is made from a 1930s pattern that was sold alongside the Effanbee dolls to add play value for those who had someone who could sew; whomever made this outfit was a master seamstress and deserves high praise for her work(wo)manship.
INCLUDES HER ORIGINAL Rare GOLDEN HEART PAPER HANG TAG~
The outfit is made of fine fabrics: pale pink cotton eyelet organdy dress, white organdy and eyelet slip, organdy "onesie", and wool felt coat, pocketbook and bonnet with carefully embroidered appliques and finished stitching. This, of course, is a one-of-a-kind and unique outfit that is "to die for". She wears her original center-snap white oilcloth shoes and pink stripe socks.
Patsy Lou stands 22" tall and has NO CRAZING ANYWHERE AT ALL. Her fingers have the RARE red painted 'joints'. She does have the somewhat expected paint rubs at the arm and leg joints, a couple of rubs to her fingers, and one pinpoint rub to the composition on the back of her reddish brown molded hair. Otherwise she is perfect and ready to join your own nursery.
Patsy Lou has vivid original aqua blue eyes with a full complement of brush lashes that are thick and even. All painted features are clearly defined and intact. She is firmly strung and can easily be posed in a variety of positions to suit her mood and personality.
Truly a stunning doll to add to your Patsy Family or Effanbee doll collection.
