Vintage 1930s Effanbee 20" Mold 1 Dy-Dee LOU Baby Doll -- Gorgeous and vibrant face
NO RESTORATIONS ... comes with her original Effanbee factory layette.
 
Baby wears her soft pale pink cotton batiste flounce collar dress, with matching bonnet and slip, Underneath she wears her rayon knit vest (undershirt), and pure white birdseye weave diaper held on with two tiny golden safety pins. She wears a pair of pink booties to keep her feet warm. Included is a DARLING original Effanbee layette blue and cream wool sweater.
 
Baby's clothes are in excellent, lightly played with condition... All are clean and pressed and ready to display.
 
Baby herself has a beautiful head -- dark molded curls -- with a modicum of soft rubs to the back. She has rosy cheeks, vivid painted features, and perfect open and close brown sleepy eyes ; the brush lashes are full and even. Her 'skin' is smooth and even toned with some very light intermittent crazing to her tummy and right arm; and a scratch on upper right arm. Tiny bit of dryness to right foot big toe and heel. All joints move freely but firmly as they should. All fingers and toes are intact -- beautiful body -- it is in wonderful condition and my close up photos will help you see just how nice it is.
 
The 20"" Dy-Dee baby is arguably the most desired and popular addition to a Dy-Dee Collector's nursery... She loves to sit among my two other baby Dy-Dee dolls as the big sister.
