This most charming BABY EVELYN is a rare and highly sought after doll... 
 
She is very hard to find and this little one is in nice condition dressed in ALL ORIGINAL tagged dress, slip, silk coat and bonnet. Her 'unders' are replaced, as are her shoes.
 
She is a perfectly-sized baby at 17" but big enough to easily tug at your heartstrings with her beautiful brown eyes and soft countenance. BABY Evelyn is marked on the nape of her neck, "Effanbee / Baby Evelyn." Her 5-part composition head and body retain all original paint -- down to her fingers and little toes -- paint is smooth and has little to NO CRAZING; ... a fine example of Baby Evelyn.
 
Her firmly stuffed oilcloth body is the only sign of her age, with expected wear as the oilcloth aged -- sturdy and completely intact. She has 'warm blonde' molded curls covering her little baby head, with just a modicum of paint rubs to lend character and age to such a wonderfully preserved dolly. She has brown glassene eyes with with human hair lashes and her vivid painted features show no wear at all and light up her face.

Baby Evelyn comes dressed in her original white cotton lawn dress with a white embroidered bib type bodice, and French val lace trim. It has its Effanbee tag at the back. Dress has not tears or wear. Underneath is her slip and replaced bloomers and undershirt. Her oilcloth shoes are new as well.
 
Best of all, she wears her original fine pink silk crepe coat and matching bonnet. Both are smocked and have lovely silk feather stitch trim. Note the three tiny oval mother-of-pearl buttons. ... as you can see, Baby Evelyn displays well!
