Mommy-made from a 1930s pattern expressly for Dy-Dee dolls. This set is so well made I didn't realize it was not factory issue... I would not have known had I not run across the pattern. Several items in the layette this set came from were made this meticulously by someone's Mom or Grandma or Auntie for a very lucky little girl.
 
Original layette gown is Mommy-made from a same vintage pattern issued expressly for Dy-Dee dolls. Embellished with pink and blue embroidery.  Excellent condition. .. makes diaper changes a 'snap' when baby wears a gown.
 
Original pattern called for a drawstring closure at the bottom, which I will add if buyer requests.
