Beautiful ORIGINAL 18” Vogue Baby Dear doll Christening Set, issued in the 1960s.
This the RARE original tagged christening gown set -- I have only seen one other in the past few years... so don't miss this one!
This is an original IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND white organdy christening dress with lace trim. Underneath is its matching slip, which is TAGGED 'Vogue Dolls Inc' inside the gathered bodice seam. Both garments are open all the way down the back for easy dressing and un-dressing your Baby; and, each have three Vogue 'signature' star dot snaps for closure. Includes a newly made white flannel diaper with French val lace trim, and a new, old-store-stock side-snap undershirt.
Her original bonnet was missing from the set. I found one with similar lace and organdy in the same style to complement and complete her outfit. I will also included a newly-made copy of a pair of Baby Dear booties that would have come with the outfit originally. The outfit is in MINT condition but for a small separation in the fabric at the upper right of the dress bodice (see photo); I have repaired it pretty much 'invisibly'.
