Vintage 1930s Effanbee Patsy original outfit... perfect for her First Day of School.
 
Darling GLAD TOGS label three-piece outfit made for Patsy. Part of a very large Patsy Family doll collection I have had in my collection for many years. All of these garments are early and rare pieces.
 
Super sweet dress is made of lightweight cotton at the bodice and a viyella pleated skirt (cotton and wool blend fabric that was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s) in a cream color that matches the piping around the cheerful cherry red wool sweater. There is a matching tam embellished with a ribbon bow fastened with a tiny button.
 
Condition: Mint but for the two tiny moth holes at the back right of the sweater and one tiny one at the seam of the tam. Otherwise, bright and crisp and like new.
