This vintage set came with an 11" Dy-Dee Ette with her original layette items, as well as this and several other mommy-made clothes. These extra outfits were fashioned from documented patterns that were issued expressly for your Dy-Dee babies at the time. Whomever sewed this and the other outfits in this layette had such a great talent for sewing that it would be difficult to tell that they in fact were not factory made... that's how good they are :-)
 
I have especially loved collecting these homemade fashions, and you will love them, too!
 
The yellow organdy has delicate lace trims, gathers and tiny embroidered flowers. The dress and the slip both close at the back with tiny 'silver' handsewn snaps.
