This is a rare vintage sample kit illustrating the manufacture processing steps that went into the making of the Esmond Mills soft 'eiderdown' blankets. Esmond made the soft dolly blankets we all love, but also made them for babies and grown-ups, too.
 
I've had this wonderful kit, that once belonged to a retail salesman. Just Intea bit of fun to see the process from cleaned white cotton to the finished fabric.
