RARE 1930s Effanbee 9" Dy-Dee WEE Baby Doll in her retail 'Presentation' display box~
 
This little Dy-Dee is the absolute smallest of the Dy-Dee family dolls... a diminutive 9" and the 'darling' of the family. Very rarely does this doll come up for sale, but here is a beautiful example of this sweet baby COMPLETE in her layette box with accessories and ALL ORIGINAL wardrobe...
 
Includes her original blue layette sheet listing all items included when purchased in 1937... and ALL are still included in unplayed with original condition... NEVER PLAYED WITH DOLL... poor baby!
 
Dy-Dee WEE has a perfect MINT FLAWLESS complexion... no rubs or missing paint to her face, and her dark chocolate brown molded curls are MINT... there is no disappointment here. She has clear blue tin-litho eyes with a full complement of lashes that are remarkably still thick and even.
 
Her original rubber body has long ago deteriorated as they all seem to have been in this particular size, but I have chosen to keep her original as all limbs still move freely and she can be dressed. I WILL, however, replace the body at purchaser's request if desired... I just don't recommend it as she is so breathtaking the way she has come to us after after more than 80 years. 
 
She comes in her original 'presentation' type retail display box, and includes all her original clothing and her accessories. Underneath lays her soft Esmond 'eiderdown' Blanket -- one side is white and the other pink; soft and clean.
 
WEE has a wonderful original wardrobe -- all factory issued for the Wee. All clothing in excellent to Mint condition with no issues -- no stains, no weaknesses to the fabric. Her clothing includes:
