RARE 1930s Effanbee 9" Dy-Dee WEE Baby Doll in her retail 'shoebox' display~
 
This little Dy-Dee is the absolute smallest of the Dy-Dee family dolls... a diminutive 9" and the 'darling' of the family. Very rarely does this doll come up for sale, but here is another (2nd of two listed) beautiful example of this sweet baby COMPLETE in her layette box and ALL ORIGINAL wardrobe.
 
Dy-Dee WEE has a perfect complexion... no rubs or missing paint to her face, and her dark chocolate brown molded curls show barely any wear, even to the backside... there is no disappointment here. She has blue tin-litho eyes with a full complement of lashes that are remarkably still thick and even.
 
Her original rubber body has long ago deteriorated as they all seem to have been in this particular size, and is now replaced with a perfectly-sized and appropriate vinyl body; it does have some light marks here and there to show its age; arms and legs rotate easily but firmly.
 
She comes in her original 'shoebox' type retail display box that does show discoloration and wear, but sturdy to hold baby and displays nicely with her little blue Esmond eiderdown rabbit blanket draped over the front and Wee nestled in her box.
 
WEE has a wonderful wardrobe -- her pajamas, robe and coat are factory issued for the Wee. All clothing in excellent to Mint condition with no issues -- no stains, no weaknesses to the fabric. Her clothing includes:
