Constructed in a jaunty red vinyl, it remains soft and pliable with no rips or tears as is so common and disappointing with these sweet toys of the past.
 
I have shown him here with his little friend "Lamby". They have been together since the start way back in the 1950s... wouldn't it be a shame to keep them apart now?
 
"Lamby" is interesting in that she has a different tag -- made from 'Wataseal'... America's Leading Plastic Fabric -- 100% virgin vinyl "Tested and Commended by Parents Magazine"
 
Lamby is a butter yellow color with a red collar and attached bell... presumably so Mary can find her little Lamb when she wanders.
 
They measure 'stem to stern' about 6" and about 7" high.
