1940s Mold 3 Effanbee 15" Dy-Dee Jane Baby Doll with RARE Chocolate Brown RABBIT Fur Wig
 
One of the RARE dolls from my Dy-Dee collection... very hard to find with this beautiful dark brown wig... and in near mint condition.
 
Dy-Dee Jane's beautiful head is in near mint condition with no rubs or color loss and a full head of gorgeous brown hair!
 
Baby Dy-Dee has a lovely rubber body, with firm joints that pose easily. Light even skin tone with some crazing around the neck area... so not one of my 'perfect' dolls, but everything you want in a vintage rubber doll to ensure your delight in dressing and caring for her for another... what? 50 years?
 
Dy-Dee is a mold 3 issue Dy-Dee with the 'attached' rubber ears. Her dark, full, soft curly RARE RABBIT SKIN FUR wig contrasts with her 'alabaster' skin tone; she has just enough soft blush to show she is a healthy baby. All painted features are well-defined and intact. Bright and sparkling BROWN eyes have full, thick and even real hair lashes. They open and close easily as they should.
 
Baby wears a NEW OLD-STORE STOCK vintage baby-style dress -- crisp, and bright with no fading -- just like brand new. I have added a pale blue taffeta coat and bonnet set, and included her original drop-seat Dr. Denton-style floral pajamas, along with a new old-store-stock pair of blue stripe silk socks and her original birdseye weave diaper.
 
She will bring her litle Bunny friend home with her for company.
